FAMILY PHOTO SHOOTS AT FORTY HALL ESTATE
I first met Sarah over five years ago at the National Wedding Show in 2015, she was on the hunt for her wedding photographer and together with her mum we started talking! A year later I photographed their beautiful wedding day at Buxted Park Hotel. Their wedding was stunning and we didn’t stop laughing throughout the day. It was pretty clear from that moment on we’d stay in touch and remain friends. Fast forward five years and two children later we met up again for a family shoot!
I chose Forty Hall Estate for our shoot as it really does create the perfect backdrop for photographs. The grounds are safe and perfect for the children to explore. It’s open to the public all year round and in the summer the rose garden comes out in force! I’m one of their recommended wedding photographers so it’s actually become one of my most regular wedding venues to photograph at. If you’re looking for somewhere to get married in Enfield I highly recommend this wedding venue!
Sarah & Pete are both key workers and on the frontline of saving lives as paramedics. I’ve learnt over the years that paramedics, nurses and doctors are very sociable when it comes to having their photos taken. We could have stayed and talked for most of the day (although I think little Ben would have needed a few more mini cheddars to keep him entertained.)
I had such a lovely morning photographing their new family and I can’t wait to see them again soon for another photo shoot with their four year old bulldog- Bruce!

THINKING ABOUT HAVING A FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT?
Family photo shoots are increasingly popular! They’re also really popular in America, especially over the key seasons such as ‘Fall’ and ‘Winter’ when they have their ‘holiday’ /Christmas cards made. Now it’s finally becoming as popular in England! I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough, Having a lovely day out with your family and having some natural and fun photographs taken for you to treasure the memories forever!
Its something I would recommend to everyone to have at least once in their lifetime! I personally love to do it every year! I love to see the stages of our lives and how much we’ve changed over time! You could even start to make an album of your life over the years. Printed photographs are always the best!
