2020 just got a lot better! A few weeks ago I was privileged enough to photograph the wedding of the new Mr & Mrs Cave at the distinctly different wedding venue, ‘South Farm’. This is honestly one of my favourite wedding venues! The staff are so wonderful, the food is outstanding and they have piglets!! (Any wedding venue with animals gets my vote!)

I first met Toni and Vince about two years ago at Ware Priory bridal fair, we instantly hit it off and it quickly felt like a new friendship was forming. When the pandemic hit the UK back in March I remember speaking to Toni on the phone and reassuring her whatever happens we’ll make sure she has the best wedding day and the most amazing photos to remember it! ‘No matter what the limitations are, I’m going to marry my best friend’,

Three days before Toni and Vince were due to get married a national lockdown was set to start the night before their wedding. The staff at South Farm managed to move their wedding forward a few days and with a day or two’s notice the new wedding date was set! Toni was so calm about everything, dropping me a text to say the wedding was now on ‘Wednesday!’

Mr & Mrs Cave had the most beautiful intimate wedding day. The weather was perfect, the venue went above and beyond and Toni and Vince didn’t stop smiling the whole day! It was a day filled with laughter and smiles! I can’t wait to share these photos with the world and spread the happiness of 2020.
